Bank PHB launches Islamic banking products SUN

In response to the growing demand for Islamic banking services and the need to continually meet the respective financial needs of its customers, Bank PHB is set to launch a range of Islamic banking products.

The Islamic banking products, which is essentially of interest free banking products offers a variety of services including Current Account, Savings, Investment and Hajj Target Savings Account.
Its target market include but no limited to Muslim “faithful” who have attained the bankable age bracket, irrespective of gender or income level, with emphasis on the Northern business regions of the bank.

The Islamic banking products is a unique way of banking that enables Muslim faithful to fulfill their religious obligations with the Hajj Savings Account.

This unique product equally accommodates Muslim women in Purdah. The launch of this suite of Islamic banking products further underscores Bank PHB’s niche for product innovation and responsiveness to the needs of its wide range of customers. It also aligns with the Bank’s Retail Banking focus, while meeting obligations to its non-retail customers.

Only last year, Bank PHB recorded another first in product innovation with the launch of the Nigerians in Diaspora Account (NIDA), which gives Nigerians living abroad an opportunity to open and run their accounts with t he bank without having to come to Nigeria or use an intermediary.

The bank also recently launched a promotion tagged the 2 for one million promo, which gives its customers an opportunity to win millions of Naira just by introducing two persons to open accounts with the bank.
